2 cups loosely packed basil leaves
1/3 cup pine nuts
2 garlic cloves
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup olive oil
salt, pepper, and lemon juice to taste
1) Process to a rough paste in a food processor or blender: basil, pine
nuts, garlic, and cheese.
2) With the machine running, slowly pour olive oil through feed tube.
If paste seems too dry, add a little more oil.
3) Add salt, pepper, and lemon juice to taste. Use or freeze topped
with a layer of olive oil.
