CAMBODIAN NOODLES WITH BROCCOLI AND MEAT

1 8-oz. package of Chinese noodles or angel hair pasta
1 ½ cups broccoli, cut into pieces
2 cloves garlic, minced
½ cup pork, cut in small pieces
6-8 shrimp, shelled and deveined
1-2 tablespoons soy sauce
2-3 tablespoons oil
1 teaspoon sugar
½ teaspoon salt
Cook pasta according to directions, drain. Add 1 tablespoon of oil to
keep noodles from sticking together, cover, and set aside. Cook or
steam broccoli in a saucepan until tender-crisp. Meanwhile, in a
separate fry pan, add 1-2 tablespoons of oil and sauté garlic and meat
for 8-10 minutes. Add broccoli, soy sauce, sugar, and salt. Toss with
noodles and serve with soy sauce. If desired, can substitute 1 cup of
thinly sliced beef for the pork and shrimp.
