POLISH CABBAGE ROLLS

1 head cabbage, cored
2 lb ground beef
1 large onion, chopped
1 cups cooked rice
2 eggs, beaten
3 cups chopped tomatoes
½ cup meat broth or bouillon
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon cider vinegar
1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
½ teaspoon marjoram or oregano
Salt and pepper to taste

Immerse cabbage in boiling water, simmer 15-20 minutes. Drain,
separate leaves, and set aside. Sauté beef and onion, remove from
heat and add rice, eggs, poultry seasoning, marjoram or oregano, and
salt and pepper. Place 1/3 cup mixture at the stem end of each
cabbage leaf, roll leaf around it, and tuck in sides. Mix tomatoes,
broth, sugar, and vinegar and pour over cabbage rolls in a covered dish.
Bake 1 ½ hours at 350 degrees F.
