HOT PEPPER CORNBREAD

1 cup flour
1 cup cornmeal
1/4 cup sugar
4 teaspoons baking powder
3/4 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
1 cup milk
4 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 jalapeno peppers, chopped  


In large bowl, stir together dry ingredients. In a small bowl, beat
together remaining ingredients. Stir dry and wet ingredients together
to make a lumpy batter, do not overmix; turn into a greased 8-inch
square baking dish. Bake in a 425 degrees F. oven for 20 minutes. Serve
warm or at room temperature.
