RADISH

Here are some ideas on preparing radish.

        Slice or grate radishes raw and toss with other veggies in a
vinaigrette or yogurt dressing
        Add whole or sliced to mixed vegetable stir-fries.
        Steam 8-10 minutes until tender but not mushy.  Roll in butter
and add dash of salt and pepper.
        Use in soups and stews as you would a turnip.
        Spread butter or soft cheese on bread and layer with thin slices
of radish and a sprinkle of salt.
