Worden Farm is a 55-acre certified organic family farm, located in
Southwest Florida. The farm is in an area of cattle ranches, orange
groves, and pinelands. It neighbors the 79,000-acre Babcock/Webb
wildlife management area, and is 1 mile from Shell Creek, a tributary of
the Peace River. The abundant sunshine, mild climate, and pure
environment contribute to a bountiful, healthful harvest.
Certified organic vegetables, fruits, herbs, and flowers are grown
without conventional pesticides or synthetic fertilizers. Ecological
techniques are used to conserve resources and protect soil and water
resources, wildlife, and human health.
Worden Farm is certified organic by Quality Certification
Services, an independent, USDA-authorized certification agency.
Worden Farm also has worked with the USDA Natural Resources
Conservation Service on water conservation projects for improving
environmental quality.
