About Worden Farm

Worden Farm, LLC is a 125-acre family farm in Florida, USA, founded by Chris Worden, Ph.D. and Eva Worden, Ph.D., husband and wife, growing certified-organic specialty crops with sustainable, regenerative agricultural practices since 2003.

Worden Farm Consulting offers strategic guidance to grow successful agricultural projects in all enterprise stages. The Wordens have promoted organic agriculture through experimental research, academic publications, videos, television shows, workshops, farm tours, university courses, conferences, consulting, and a farm apprenticeship program.

The Wordens are recipients of the Florida Innovative Farmer Award, and have been recognized as Organic Farmer Experts by the United States Department of Agriculture.

Worden Farm's community involvement has included donating fresh produce to food assistance programs, supporting school and community gardens with technical expertise and material donations, fundraising events for community organizations, providing a venue for painters and performing artists, donations to charity events and auctions, speaking and teaching at educational institutions and for educational media, participating in events and educational campaigns, and serving as board directors and active members of community organizations.

“. . .it’s not just the leafy greens and luscious vine-ripe tomatoes that make Worden Farm appetizing. There is something else – something more visceral, more elemental. It’s the endeavor at Worden Farm to reconnect people with the life-giving fundamentals that much of society has come completely disconnected from: food, community and conscientious work to sustain a healthy environment.”  ~ Rosie Emery, WGCU Media
